Just got the notice on the recall. They can’t update my DEF system if I remove it, ha ha ha!!. <begins foaming at the mouth>

edit:
In all seriousness, I got about 30-31 MPG @ 70+ MPH on stock MTs. On 37 MTs with all my overlanding crap, I get about 25-27 MPG highway @ 65ish MPH. I get about 23 MPG combined. Never had what I considered a DEF consumption issue except for that time I dumped the jug on myself like an imbecile.

My stock diesel gets 24-25 average. but the def consumption is crazy. i have 15K on my 2021 and on my 4th jug that I put in. would love to delete that nonsense in about 20K miles. and a good trans tune would be great too. I drive in manual most of the time to keep it from down shifting all the time.

On my "22. Have just over 1,700 miles on the clock. Have just used about 5/8's of a tank of DEF fluid.

Got the recall last week, scheduled for later this week.

19k and 27.0 mpg (hand calculated) per Fuelly, 50/50 city/hwy. I haven’t done a good job (none at all, actually) of tracking DEF usage. I think I’m right around 5k per 5 gallons. Let’s see what happens with this recall.

Supposed to get mine back tomorrow... This will be the 5th time in for the oil light coming on, then the charge light decided to join in on the fun about 5k miles ago... They are telling me the flash is going to fix those issues as well as my super High DEF consumption (about 2000 miles to a jug) I currently have just over 30k.... I hope this fixes the other issues, but not thinking it will...

I was asked if I wanted a computer update in February when I had my oil changed. I declined it since I was picking my truck up but I’m sure it was the recall

Got mine done a few days ago. It’s too soon to say certainly, but I do think there will be a very slight mpg bump.

power feels similar, although (and it might just be me) this pcm software feels a bit more refined?

again it could be in my head but it feels similar to flashing my ND Miata back to stock after running an aggressive tune, a hair smoother. (But without the power loss in my example)

I got my recall service done and have seen a slight increase in mileage. I have 37’s and a wind magnet of a cab over camper shell so it was a nice surprise. I am hovering at around 23.5 mpg but drive like I am paying $5.85 per gallon. Oh wait, I am! But would pay more as damn I love my Jeep!
