How many trips to the dealership did the "growing pains" entail, pray tell.Even though I had some "growing pains" on a brand new 2021 JTRD-- I wouldn't change my decision...
Interesting, I don't believe Costco here has any diesel pumps. Buc-ees has diesel and DEF pumps. Should be cheaper for def fills for urban miles. Likely take a box when on the road. Also Buc-ees has NON Corn Syrup gasoline for occasional fills on my 3.6.I have a 21 JTRD and absolutely love it with 20,000 miles on it. Mine runs damn good too! Def is really not that big of deal or expense. Get it and the fuel at Costco.
I absolutely love my diesel. Just make sure they do the high pressure fuel pump before delivery. The price is irresistible, NEW 2023 Gladiator/Rubi Diesel. $18,000 off MSRP
I have a gas Gladiator and love it, so much fun, I will never be without a jeep again but the Diesel. I want it bad Im not worried about DEF, but has Jeep massaged out the 3.0 issues for 2023?
Strong stench of diesel i don't see how . I have had my for 3 years and have never smelled diesel def a couple of times but never diesel.I really wanted an EcoDiesel. I test drove one before buying my 2023 Gladiator five weeks ago: it drove nice; tons of torque, but I didn't like that it stunk like hell.
Things were fine as long as we were moving, but as soon as I came to a stop or was idling on the lot, a strong stench of diesel took over. I was surprised to be honest.
Then I read all of issues the EcoDiesel has had; some of which are still unresolved.
I ended getting a gasoline Gladiator instead. The Pentastar engine is proven; runs quietly and smoothly. No regrets.
