Some confusion on max payload

According to the charts, my Sport S Max Tow should have a max payload of 1550 but the tire sticker on the door frame says 1485 is my max payload. Also where on the vehicle does it list GCWR, and the Max Tow weight, is there a label.

You have 65lbs worth of optional equipment. Payload on my Rubi is 1200lbs but door sticker says 1148lbs, so I have 52lbs worth of options.

I think Longtimelistner hit it on the head. The Max haul is for the base which is a soft top.

I got a manual transmission, sport s with no tow package. 747kgs of payload. 1647 in 'MURICA. I only ticked 4 options: cold weather group, engine block heater, premium top, aux switches.

 I think my pay load went higher for no hard top. What everyone else already said is correct, your payload will be = X - options.

I think basicgald hit on it, not many are getting a manual Rubicon and the load probably is for the Auto which is heavier I think.

The advertised ratings are based on common options, so if you get more or less than that it'll affect your ratings. The actual can be +-50-100lbs. Go by whatever is on the door jamb. If you get a stripped out Sport with manual trans, you can probably get 1650lbs. Contrary to that, a loaded Sport S with auto will be closer to 1500lbs. Same with Rubicons, a manual trans cloth seat Rubi probably in the neighborhood of 1250lbs, while a loaded one under 1150lbs. Mine is 1148 and has everything except the tonneau cover, bluetooth speaker and front camera. I'd imagine LE's are like 1135-1140lbs.

By stripped out sport I assume you mean base sport? If so the base sport only has ~1200.

I was going to get a base sport until I found out I had to get the sport s, no tow package to get 1650

That's odd. I checked off almost every single option on the list when I ordered mine, and my payload is 1,511 lbs. Wonder what you got that I didn't?
