It is a nice looking truck, I think 150's are nice looking in general, actually, I like the look of most Ford trucks (outside the Bronco).

As far as off road use, seems to be optimized for high speed desert or almost desert areas with wider trails. And if that is what one drives in mostly, sounds like a lot of fun.

But I would wager, most 4-wheelers don't off road in such a sweet terrain (I might even buy one if I did). Most 4-wheelers go on narrower rougher trails were a smaller truck that doesn't have 770 hp will do just as well (if not better)...Tossing, what, 135K$ at this without the ability to put all those ponies to work (off)-road is kinda a waste to me.

But you can always take that 770HP to the "Mall" and look really, really, cool. ?

Related, good vid (been around for a while) Mojave vs Ford Raptor - the 450HP version but still very instructive comparison:

I love it! I never understood The I own a Jeep or chevy, dodge etc so I shit on all other makes, models and years other than what I own mentality. How great would it be to have a jay Leno style collection of the 4x4 world. I like playing different Golf courses, fishing in new places and more than one flavor of ice cream to. Life is better than good.

They look tacky to me. I think Ford brought in the designer of the Pontiac Aztec and chevy avalanche to put the finishing touches on the exterior. Trucks are just getting stupid anymore. I saw a ram power wagon yesterday with huge power wagon stickers on the back and sides with 2 foot long side view mirrors jutting out. So stupid looking and it made me assume all kinds of things about the driver. Could be the decline of testosterone in men these days driving these gawdy designs.

I think some aftermarket truck company should design a big side view mirror shaped like a big flexing bicep that way the owners can take it to the next level.

That’s just vehicle peeps in general. Hell…LOTS of Jeep people are cliquish assholes to other Jeep owners. I.e. Remember when the TJ Rubicon came out? Folks online shat all over people that had the nerve to buy those, rather than build a rig. “Built, not bought” peeps are serious business.

That was awhile ago. 87 is $3.07 and diesel is about $4.50 now.
Can you send me a tanker full?
87 is $4.05 and diesel is $5.99 if you are lucky. We are even paying $5.45 for off-road diesel and heating oil is the same.
Cord wood is hitting $300 around here.

Just junk. That truck will be in the scrap yard and my jeep will still be running strong. Don't believe me? How many of those Ford Lightnings from the late 80's early 90's have you seen lately? I see Jeeps from the same time frame regularly.
