Kate @JeepCares I've already sent a PM and no resolve whatsoever. Why don't we just get the engineering team involved. Bypassing all the corporate BS. Dealing with who actually is responsible instead of going back and forth and back and forth. Get the lead engineers involved. Quit messing around with this back and forth.

Hello all.

We want to assure you that we do take these complaints seriously and have escalated them to the appropriate parties. As a result, we anticipate a fix to be released for 21MY Jeep Gladiator EcoDiesels in Q1 of 2022. For reference, STAR Case Number S2102000011 will assist dealers in making repairs until then. We will keep you updated on any new information.

I noticed today that my teraflex bumpstop extensions have a very defined circle impression from the bumpstop hitting continuously. Tragic. Im looking into heavy springs….
Might want to rethink the issue, if we put on a lift with bump stops designed for a gas, then we will have too much bumpstop.

The mopar kit uses the same bumpstop spacers for gas and Diesel engines. That’s flawed, assuming the shocks are also the same length compressed.

Being that we ecodiesel owners have 1.25-1.5 more bumpstop built into the frame, we SHOULD remove 1.25-1.5” from the mopar lift bumpstop extensions.

I have a feeling this “issue” persists in other companies lift kits, not knowing the difference in frames.

Any chance of jeep taking care of the people that had to go buy aftermarket lifts in order to make the jeep drivable?

@JeepCares What are the repairs noted in the “assist dealers in making repairs”? And what about us that had cases opened and closed without resolution and had to put on our own lifts?

It’s says EXJ and 26R. Is your non-rubicon an an EXJ pkg? Check your window sticker.

Yes, the bottom line literally says EXJ (diesel) AND 26R (rubicon package). So you much have the diesel motor and be a Rubicon Trim.

Doesn't matter, the STAR case is specifically for Rubicons with the diesel motor only.

@JeepCares Kate, I documented this with my dealer last month. I ordered a lift this month. Can you check with the engineers on whether the AC part numbers never lift is going to need a part swap/modification for the 26R Rubicon diesel? I have not installed this lift yet.

Where did you pull this document from?
Must be an employee, or has already been to the dealership. I wasn't aware of a way we could access STAR publications like we can for something like TSBs.

Well then they need to address that for all the other submodels.

Yeah not sure why it's specific to rubicons only, curious to see what the fix is. It might shed more light on why it's only rubi specific.

I'm not seeing EXJ package noted anywhere. What is that? I have a '21 JTRD. 26R clearly spelled out. thanks.
