And now back to our regular scheduled program. This thread was about Gladiator values. Someone brought up gun control. But not in a political way apparently then someone rebutted that but that was political I don't know I didn't see the posts that were removed. Then someone asked about driving the speed limit and woo boy that opened a shit storm. One thing think we should be thinking and it may have appeared already..... Looking for value estimates from any and multiple dealers is not the best place to seek tru numbers.
A practice I use when buying and selling used is comparing identical vehicles on 3 big estimation sites, NADA, Edmunds and (an average of identical featured cars/miles) from Cars.com or CarGarus. Average the 3 together and you get a pretty good idea of what's going on.
Dealer is the last person I look to for a value number.
Now here we go let's see if this can get back on topic! Vehicle values go down some more than others. The best historical way to determine what a future value of your vehicle is going to be is to look at manufacturers lease residual values. If you plan on keeping a vehicle a long time it probably doesn't matter. I read an article today about electric cars. Guess what? NO ONE wants to buy a used electric car because there is no govt incentives.
Gladiator values are down no biggy I didn't buy mine to sell it in a couple years anyway.
