Saw you cut the bed and frame, did you figure a plan for shocks and changing angle by cutting into bed?
Sorta. That was on my mind while working on this update. I did take measurements and have a plan in mind. The idea is to use shock towers and a brace between the towers that will double as a support for the spare.

That step is on hold though. I’m swapping in the RK 4.5” springs to replace the exiting 3” springs. I’d like to test fit the spare and new springs before I build/buy parts.

So far the rear springs have arrived, but no ETA for the front ones.

I will be interested in hearing thoughts on the rear anti-rock. Got tired of waiting on Teraflex to ship their version of it which was part of the ST4 kit I installed. Purchased front and rear anti-rock and will be putting it on soon.

Aside from it's adjustability (and different mounting method) I'm curious how the Anti-Rock compares to the Mojave sway bars as they're softer than those on other JT models..

Finished the bed modifications (for now, going to tweak a couple things later this month) and the truck is road worthy again!

The bed is chopped just enough so I can still fit the spare, my compressor, and yeti 65 in it.

The paint job needs a couple touch ups, but I’m actually surprised how well it turned it considering this is the only second time I’ve done auto body work.

In total, I removed 7 inches from the length, and 4-ish below with the hitch out of the way. The aluminum bumper is still braced, and the tow hooks are operational.

So I’ve got a two hour drive into the city tomorrow, with all kinds of roads involved. I’ll shoot a message afterwards about any impressions.

Ok, so drove to the city yesterday. Gravel roads, paved, winding roads, interstate, and finally city streets.

Honestly, I didn't notice a difference with the new sway bar. Will report back when I get the truck off road :)

That's how it should be on the street.
Offroad it should help limit body roll a little more than stock, while not limiting axle articulation and most importantly, be stronger than stock, so not break in the process

I have finally graduated to the big leagues… @Discount Tire hooked me up with 40s (they were back ordered when I tried to buy them a couple weeks ago :( ) and they arrived 4 weeks sooner than expected!

Going to have to cut my bumper a little tomorrow morning due to rubbing at full lock (then I’ll test under articulation) but the fit is pretty nice.

Truck felt a little slower driving home (still on 4.10 gears), but the 220 lbs of extra tires sitting in the bed couldn’t have been helping either.

That's going to take some getting used to. Obviously a gear swap is next.
