Indeed.

I have a Youtube channel, about 58k subs, pays me about 800 bucks a month. I got in early, so it was easier to gain subs and dedicated viewers, build a brand. But I never jumped on the collabs, joined a network, did the events and tours...

It's not my job, so I'm under no pressure to poop out 8 lying videos a day, or push merch, or products. I'm sitting on a 3d scanner right now that costs 5k I got for free because I see no value in it to a guy trying to put an LS in his OBS Chevy lol.

Going from 800 a month to enough to replace my income as an ME, with benefits, it's a hell of a reach, and we considered it back in 18-19, and chose to keep it light.

I totally understand what drives Motel 8 Garage, same as I understand what drives Mr Freigburger, who I admire, but also remember selling Fitch Fuel catlysts and anything else Peterson told him to lol.
I watch a lot of YT channels in lieu of cable, but you for sure just end up picking whomever slings the merch and advertises crap that you can tolerate 😂 My favorites lately are the ones who have gotten really good at sliding their adverts into the video in such a manner that its like a 'damn he got me' moment. Sam Reid and Rich Rebuilds pull that off well.

Pole Barn Garage is the best I've seen at doing it full time, but not selling out everything he cares about.

The diesel isn't that bad... Yes it has problems but doesn't the 3.6?

If you really wanted a Rubi with 5.7 in the near future and don't currently have a gladiator... Buy a used rubi for 25-35k and then the 30k for the swap. You would be paying only 5-10k more than I did for my sport s new at 55k

Niche market yes, only 500 people??? I have only sold 150 cars since I was 16 in 1971, and I love the niche market. If you have it and they whant it. :)
Around here, the only value adding mods are V8's and one tons/d60 swaps and you'll only add half of what you paid if you bought the parts anywhere but a wrecking yard.

Is the amw warranty not transferable? I guarantee these v6s see redline far more often than my 5.7L ever did... because they make peak power north of 6k so they have to. Odds are if you're in the market for a modded Jeep, you'll only see the v8 as the bonus it is over the v6. Now if you want an untouched model at the cheapest price under the hope it was never driven hard (everything I've ever driven gets driven hard and they all go well past 100k miles), you aren't buying one of my lifted Jeeps anyway.
Your right and I dont like Yellow. But the HP bands are 3000k & 4350k If your cramming it to 6k its for needless reasons which is sorta my point.
If you dont know how something was serviced or driven why would you buy it
Buying a 3.6L is a crap shoot in a used jeep in some instances for instance one that someone unloaded after it ate 2 or 3 cams. But buying a 5.7L that may be on the verge of eating a cam. We'll now ya into a a whole new ball of wax a new engine to learn etc.. Hard Pass.

I'd be completely happy with this. Don't need a 6.4, don't need it supercharged. Said it before, I'll say it again: just need it to be CARB legal.

Makes me drool. That is what I been asking for from Jeep, but since I am ignored, I will just wait a couple year then go this route rather than dropping money with Jeep.

Even with 3.73 gearing and 37’s this thing hauls!
What He really did was just have them create a good on gas 5.7L. Seems counter productive to do the 3.73's it literally took akot of the guts outta taht 5.7L. If I would ever do that it would have 4.56's
If you were kitening it shifted alot . He went too high in the gearing. That looked like a Sport model.

Common misconception. Several of us have actually measured 0-60 before and after regearing and you don't gain much if anything. On the JL forum one guy used a dragy so he had the graphs for the full runs. With the stock 4.10s and 37s and then with 4.88s and 37s he picked up .1 seconds 0-60. Regearing the 2.0t in our 2019 JLUR from 4.10s to 5.38s made it .5s slower to 60 as it had to shift 1 extra time (2.0t has a much lower redline than the 3.6L). If those are the results with sub 300hp, I'd bet they'd be even less impressive with 400+.

I have a ‘25 JT Rubicon with 4.10 gears and 5800 miles. Rubitrux is three hours away and I have the cash.

I traded a 2017 F150 FX4 with a 5.0 Coyote that was only about a $2,500 option. While I don’t like the price tag on the hemi, I sure want one.

Wonder how much trade value a 3.6 is worth? Guess I’ll call Monday.
