So, what's the final verdict? What are the progression rate numbers for Max Tow vs. Rubicon rear springs? Anyone found any finalized information on it? The only differences in payload and towing are boucle of the added weight of things installed on the Rubicon (from everything I've read)... So, does this mean that the rear springs are identical?

If they are not identical, then would putting Max Tow rear springs in my Rubicon keep the back from being so weight-sensitive when putting things in the bed, or hooking up to a trailer.

Did you notice with is the suspension felt bouncy in the back?
I have a Rubi and it for some reason, I just noticed that it feels bouncy out back.

In full disclosure, I bought this while on a trip out West, so in order to get home, I had to rent and haul a small U-Haul trailer to get all of my stuff home.

So, after 4k miles of driving with the trailer(the trailer might have had 500 pounds of cargo), the rear suspension feels really under dampened. The Fox shocks look good/fine (no leaks, etc), but act like shocks with 150k on them.

Just wanted to update with a couple of photos. I went ahead and put the Rubicon springs on all the way around. Did some lite wheeling this weekend and it did fine, but I do notice a "Squishy" feel when going over dips or general driving around town. I am thinking about swapping back in the rear max tow springs to see the difference.
FYI it looks like it's squatting in the photo, but my driveway has a crown shape and it makes things look weird in photos. I plan on a new bumper and winch so the front will drop more once those are installed.

Another update. Swapped the rear Rubicon Springs for the Max Tow springs over the weekend. Nothing changed on the front. I can notice a difference in the ride quality with the max tow springs back in the rear. The "Floaty" feel is gone. When I compared both springs side by side I could not visually see a difference. My guess is the max tow springs just have a stiffer spring weight over the Rubicon springs. How that translates offroad I won't know until we are allowed out of the house again, but seeing as though I plan on adding some things to the bed I'll probably stick with the max tow springs for now. Eventually.
You have done what I am thinking about. Swapping all 4 shocks on my max tow sport for rubicon shocks. I think like you, I will keep the rear springs. Do you notice anything different up front with the rubicon springs? 2.5" front spacer and .75" rear spacer and it sits level with the shock and spring swaps? Which spacer kits did you get? Are you running factory rims? Curious about the backspacing. TIA! Looks great btw

Reading through this. Oddly googled my the Rubicon spring number for the rear and it popped up. Are the front Rubicon springs different as well? I now have my rears labeled. Getting ready to do the old measure and install.

Yes there are many variations of springs and numbers.

This is the tag on the passenger side rear coil spring from a Max Towing model.
So I have the "Max Payload" version, manual transmission, no tow package.
1700lbs of payload (747kgs specifically on the door sticker)

Here are my springs

Can anybody tell me more about these max payload springs?

I was given a full set of Rubicon take off suspension

With what @SgtMajTomahawk is saying
Rubicons are designed for flex and a softer offroad ride. Max Tow is designed to haul stuff. While the Rubicon is a few hundred pounds from the max towing capacity it's heavier and it's springs are designed to be softer.

The Rubicon springs would give a little extra lift and flex, but the max tow springs are going to be really good for carrying weight.

some guys that have done the Rubi springs all the way around on the max tow say the ride is very "bouncy" or "Floaty" and that's a bi product of having softer springs for off road.
I'm worried about the Rubicon springs in the rear killing my payload (I put 1000lbs in the bed and 200lbs x 4people in the cab) and I don't want the floating or bouncy ride. I've see videos of people using the bed like a trampoline.

I also like how flat the Gladiator corners for a truck (been saying that to my wife since I got it, corners pretty flat for a truck, little body roll. She complains about the bumpy ride).

Tomorrow I'm thinking about putting the Rubicon springs in the front for the 3/4" lift... Not a full leveling kit but it's a tiny level and the fox shocks all around. Any suggestions or advice?

I agree about the cornering. I can do corners just as fast in my Jeep as I could in my Mercedes convertible, just ride several feet higher. Very flat in corners. I have a max tow with no lift and factory tires.

One thing I noticed is the springs in the mopar parts catalog show that they fit left or right.
Just going by what I've seen, the more complicated, the more chance for mistakes. There production line logistics must be incredible to get so many different part numbers to the right truck on the line, of course with scanners now, as long as the tag is right, they can have lots of checks as it goes down the line. To think of the original Ford Model T, all exactly the same, no options and no color choice, to now were you have one line making, I've lost count of models, started with 4, 2021 added several more models, all coming off the same assembly line with 1,000's of different part combinations. What a change computers have made.

Does anyone have the part numbers for both rear springs on a max tow? Wanting to upgrade my sport S to increase stiffness in the rear. Looks like the passenger rear ends in 445AB but I can’t find the drivers side part number.

Max tow rear springs I put under mine -
444AB for driver/left side
445AB for right/passenger side
