I should have mentioned though that all AEV lifts still maintains the factory rack, and a lot of people don’t like that look.

I never understood this - why people dont like it. Most seem to want to level their trucks when it's just sitting in the driveway, but then add a few hundred pounds and the rear end is sagging pointing you into the sky. I like the rake AEV keeps. Now, fully loaded (or rather overloaded) I am sitting perfectly level.

For me I pull a boat (2 times a year to and from our lake) and I want the truck sitting level. The Rear triple rate springs are going to take care of any squat.
When I started looking at lifts, I was just going to use spacers. After visiting AEV in Wixom Mi and seeing how they make their production trucks, I was hooked. I went AEV wheels too because I want to keep the wheels mostly under the fenders as well. Lastly they are installing my lift at their facility which goes through multiple stations and QC checked at the end for an extremely inexpensive price in my mind.

The Mopar lift has a pretty big rake, but it is way more than 2" of lift. Add a front trackbar to the mopar kit, and consider a 3/4" spacer for the front springs and you're in business.
Agreed, the Mopar lift ends up being 2.5" - 3 inches of lift on a sport in the front. That being said, while an adjustable trackbar is helpful, it is my understanding that it is not absolutely needed as their are no differences in track bars on Rubicons vs Sports.

I'm a big fan of Eibach right now. After installing their Pro-truck Sport shocks I will be adding their springs after I burn through my current 33" tires.

I would go with their 2" front/1" rear setup with shocks and that should get you what you need to clear the 35s and also level out the rake. They also have a 3" front/2" rear for the same cost if you really want to go higher than 2" up front.

Add the 2" Mopar lift LCAs and you should be very happy with what you are looking for and at a decent price.

This is the complete kit? Nothing else needed?

my Rubicon actually drives better after the Metalcloak 3.5 gamechanger lift with shocks. I can't brag on it enough. I'm running 37" no rubbing. i had factory tires on it for 15000 miles before going to the 37" and it really did drive better.

In the words of Cousin Eddy, “Are you serious Clark?”

I am looking at the 3” AEV geometric correcting lift. It’ll be a while before I pull the trigger as my focus is on a new bumper which i just got from rebel offroad and a RTT later this year For fall camping. But I had no idea you can bring your vehicle there and they do install.

Is the tour included for everyone or is it like a special access thing? I’m in NY but I saw some cool places for camping in MI. Wouldn’t be too far fetched to make a trip out of it for the install.

I called them up to ask if it was possible to look at wheels since I couldn’t make up my mind. Took me around and showed me multiple vehicles to help with my decision. I bought the wheels and lift with intention of installing myself. I asked the question if they also do private customer installs, and took me to scheduler for quote and timing. I have to wait until 7/10 and they will need it for 3 days, but I’m assuming it could be done for anybody. You’ll just have to contact sales and ask the question to see if timing will work while in Mi.

It’s needed. Simple geometry says so. That is, unless you want to lift it and have the body shifted over about an inch or so afterwards. It’s worth it.

Mind if I ask what they’re banging you out for the install? I’m very new to this Scene so I tend to have my local shop do most work. They want $2200 for the lift kit and install which given the lift kit is around 180—2k, is a pretty solid price. And they’ve been doing it for 40 years.

But the thought of going to AEV seems cool, although I wasn’t planning on adding anything else from AEV (I’m more into the black rhino wheels)

Lift install is $577 plus tax. That includes alignment, QC check and if it’s not in factory spec they make adjustments until it’s right. I know everybody has a certain look they are going for, but I personally don’t like my tire sticking out past my fenders much (had that on 2012 JK). My whole concern was weight added in to rolling mass. So I went with 51lbs tire and and 34lbs wheel. Here is how my wheel setup compares to factory wheel.

OP,

First of all, you don't NEED that much lift to fit 35's. I understand you WANT it, but it's not needed.

You could get by with either 1.5" or 2" spring spacers, shock extensions, and then either wheels with different back spacing OR 1.5" SpiderTrax wheel spacers on factory wheels and you're done.

Most people are going to push the lift THEY bought, just the nature of the beast.
