With the bulletproof cooler in hand along with an aftermarket bumper,my best spot for myself personally is where the rubicon sway bar disconnect is. Since the plan is already the antirock sway bar I think personally that is my best option for me. Pics tomorrow when I get time.

You’re going to need extra hose to install it in that area, Bulletproof doesn’t provide a long enough section to reach in front of the sway bar.

There may also be a new skid plate available soon for the new cooler that will work with the electric sway bar and steel bumpers — first prototypes are expected to be ready soon.

That's badass!

Looks overkill, but the last thing we need is a failure of a part like a cooler in the bush and can't be too careful!

2nd the sway lock..as good as stock and a Antirock.

That cooler location and skid looks like no protection from the front.. rocks etc.

If you look at the opening on the cooler housing, you’ll notice a recessed edge.

That feature is there to nest a block off plate for use during cold weather/muddy operation or an optional protection grid insert.

Forgot to mention about the disconnect flip. But the radiator is 26.5" wide which is about the inside distance of the frame rails so it should fit with no major issues. Main concern is the not great airflow to that part but should still be better than nothing.

Not related to cooling, on my JL i’m running a swayloc like others recommended and I can’t recommend it enough. Best of both worlds imo. On the highway I run it in the stiff rate, around town I run it in the soft rate. Using the remote control version that uses my compressor.

Maybe the next fad to replace 50-inch lightbars across the top of the windshield could be a 50-inch cooler for us diesel guys. Good airflow, protected from rockcrawling hazards, and a tough Mad Max look that would appeal to the mallcrawler crowd.

Yep there she is. If you're under warranty I'd have them deal with it and resleave and or repin the harness if it's damaged.
So my jeep has been in the shop since last week, Wednesday... Day 47 overall without my Jeep, or a Loaner... Oh...I guess I should clarify they did give me a rental vehicle once for 2 days, it was a filthy old minivan that had been smoked in... I ended up getting charged for it by the rental company and had to make like 12 phone calls to get reimbursed.

I was told the truck would be ready on Wednesday, but it wasn't. Apparently the tech cut out early yesterday without finishing it. They broke the Tube on the DPF when they were trying to work on the harness... now I am seriously questioning the quality of the "Fix" on my harness... Considering they "fixed" my Diff Locker issue by unplugging the harness and wrapping it in electrical tape, and plugging it back in... and it was flashing again a few days later... They are "fixing" it again now.

Anybody know if that section of harness is just something the can unplug on both ends and replace, or if the "Technician" would actually have to "repair" the existing wiring?

Sorry for venting, I am just soooo frustrated with this truck, dealership, Brand... I don't know what to do. If I trade it in I will take a big loss, but I am always worrying about what is going to break next... Is that just what owning a Jeep is Like? Will there be a point when I can drive it on the freeway without worrying if it will go into limp mode, or worse now, even catch on fire?

Ugh.

This your first jeep? It's a pain for sure but maybe you should find a different dealer if there's a history of inadequate repairs. I'm not sure if that harness can be removed from connector to connector , I'm pretty sure it's a mainfeed to the PCM.

That is what I was worried about.... Not my first jeep, but my first "Modern" jeep :). I can rewire my 71 CJ5 in a couple hours... it is like 13 wires, and one inline fuse ....hahahaha
